Hand-restored vintage furniture sits alongside artisanal creations made by us – curtains, lampshades, cushions, and even upholstered fabrics. Charlotte and Marianne were excellent hosts. They provided a wonderful welcome package with great recommendations on what to do around Amboise.
This Airbnb was the highlight of our trip. It’s situated right next to the chateau, we could see it right outside our windows. It also overlooks the Main Street where all the shops and the restaurants are.
Each morning we’d wake up walk down stairs and across the street to a bakery and grab pastries and coffee and look at the chateau. It was so peaceful.
This is a gem, if it’s available do yourself a favor and book it now. End your searching. You won’t be disappointed.

This was just a stunningly put together place, the photos don't do it justice. Every detail was taken into consideration, from the comfortable beds, the beautiful decor, the gorgeous glass and tableware (no wafer thin Ikea silverware or glasses here!😍), to the binder full of every detail you need to enjoy her home and the beautiful Amboise. Charlotte clearly put a lot of thought and effort to ensuring her guests comfort.
And the location! I new it was going to be near everything, but I had no idea! It was truly just mere steps to the chateau entrance as well as a lively street full of restaurants with loads of outdoor seating, we had a magical meal in the shadow of the chateau walls.
We were on a two week adventure around France, and this was the nicest place we stayed at. Not the most expensive, but definitely the nicest.
Charlotte and Mariane we so friendly and welcoming, I could not endorse it more strongly!

"Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander ce joli logement niché au cœur de la ville d’Amboise. À deux pas du château, avec une jolie vue sur les toits de la ville et malgré le fait d’être au cœur de la ville, le lieu est calme ! Les hôtes sont disponibles, charmantes et efficaces. Le lieu est propre et propice à la déconnexion. N’hésitez surtout pas à découvrir ce joli logement ! De très beaux commerces sont autour et il est très facile d’accès (même avec des enfants)."
